The kettlebell originated in Russia and was popular in the U.S. decades ago, but it has gained popularity again as folks see the quick results and fun workout to be had with only a small piece of equipment. Kettlebells are the whole package. They target every area you could ask for in a workout – endurance, strength, balance, agility and cardio training.
Through swinging, pressing, pulling, and hand-changing motions, the kettlebell requires your body to use its core as it conditions and strengthens the muscles in a relatively short time.
